The highly anticipated Android 15 update for the Nothing Phone 1 has officially rolled out, bringing with it a host of exciting new features and improvements that promise to enhance the user experience. Among the standout additions is the introduction of the AI-powered Smart Drawer, a major upgrade that brings smarter app organization and suggestions based on user habits. Additionally, the update includes a range of customization options, allowing users to personalize their device like never before. Here’s a closer look at everything the Android 15 update has to offer for Nothing Phone 1 users.
AI-Powered Smart Drawer: Smarter App Organization
One of the most exciting new features introduced with the Android 15 update is the AI-powered Smart Drawer. This new functionality uses artificial intelligence to help organize and manage apps on the phone in a way that is both efficient and personalized. Rather than simply displaying apps in alphabetical order or by install date, the Smart Drawer intelligently groups apps based on usage patterns and context.
For example, apps that are used most frequently will be prioritized, making them easily accessible. Additionally, the Smart Drawer can make context-sensitive recommendations based on the time of day, location, and user habits. If you typically open your social media apps during your morning commute, the Smart Drawer will present these apps first thing in the morning. Similarly, if you’re frequently using productivity apps during work hours, they’ll be more prominent in the drawer when you’re at the office or in a meeting.
This AI-powered functionality essentially aims to create a more intuitive, streamlined experience by anticipating your needs and adapting to your routines. By learning from your behavior over time, the Smart Drawer ensures that the most relevant apps are just a tap away.

Users can choose from a variety of pre-designed themes that bring different color schemes, layouts, and visual styles to the phone’s system UI. Whether you prefer a sleek, minimalist look or something more vibrant and colorful, the customization options cater to a range of tastes.
In addition to themes, the Android 15 update also adds new icon styles. This feature allows users to select different icon shapes and designs to match their overall aesthetic. Whether you prefer rounded, square, or custom-shaped icons, the update provides a greater level of flexibility in tailoring the visual experience of the device.
Lock Screen Customizations
For those who like to express their personality even when the phone is locked, the Android 15 update introduces enhanced lock screen customization options. Users can now change the lock screen’s wallpaper, clock style, and layout, offering more ways to personalize the first thing you see when you pick up your device.
Fonts and Animations

Users can now choose from a selection of fonts to modify the overall text appearance on the device, allowing for a more tailored visual experience. Furthermore, the update introduces new animation effects that can be enabled to make interactions feel smoother and more dynamic, enhancing the overall user experience.
